The Comparative, International and Development Education Centre (CIDEC) at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education is a hub for cutting-edge research and dialogue in the field of comparative and international education. Our mission is to foster innovative interdisciplinary approaches to education that address global challenges, with a particular focus on equity, social justice, and transformative educational practices. Through our dynamic community of scholars, practitioners, and students, CIDEC promotes critical thinking, cross-cultural understanding, and evidence-based solutions that contribute to sustainable and inclusive educational development worldwide.
