Ana Laura Pauchulo
Biography
Analaura Pauchulo completed her Ph.D. at 萌妹社区 in 2011. For her dissertation research she worked with human rights groups in Argentina to understand the pedagogical role of public remembrance practices of those who were disappeared during the 1976-1983 dictatorship. After completing her graduate studies, Dr. Pauchulo moved to Edmonton where she worked with the National Day of Healing and Reconciliation Committee and the Project of Heart project as well as with the John Humphrey Centre for Peace and Human Rights (JHC) on various projects including supporting child and youth advocates to implement the relevant TRC Calls to Action into their work. She has also taught at Athabasca University in Educational Studies and Global and Political Economy as well as in the Department of Equity Studies at York University. Dr. Pauchulo has been teaching in the Master of Teaching program since 2021 and also teaches in the Indigenous Trauma and Resilience Program in the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work, as well as continues to work with JHC on project development and community-based research.
