Biography

Clarissa, BSc, MSc, PhD, completed her PhD in Developmental Psychology and Education at ÃÈÃÃÉçÇø in July 2020. Her doctoral dissertation is titled "The complexity of young learners: Rethinking assessment methodologies to model cognitive, metacognitive, and psychological traits". Her research interests involve elucidating the role of complex learning traits such as cognition, metacognition, psychological beliefs, and affect in the context of educational assessments. Prior to ÃÈÃÃÉçÇø, she has been involved in interdisciplinary research including applied linguistics, neuropsychiatry, and rehabilitation sciences. She has also worked and advised for the Ministry of Education as well as private companies in areas of language development and assessment.
