ÃÈÃÃÉçÇø is saddened to hear about the passing of William Robert Waters, champion of education.

Waters knew first-hand what it was like to struggle — he earned his undergraduate degree from U of T in his late 20s as a part-time mature student because economic hardships forbade him from pursuing full-time studies. So, it's no surprise that he would spend his life breaking down barriers to education for others, including ÃÈÃÃÉçÇø students.
